On the northern point of Lido Key is perhaps the area’s most appealing and epic family-friendly attraction. Armand’s Circle is a blast of peculiar boutiques and dessert shops. We highly recommend a romp on over to Lido Key where you’ll find St. ![]() Siesta Key is lovely, but you can also get off the key for a bit and see the other nearby sights and their attractions. The Village of Siesta Key has some fabulous family-friendly restaurants, but there are excellent places to take the crew all over the island. You spots to see include the Swim Shack, the Siesta Market, Life Works, and For the Birds. It features a welcoming mix of mainstream stores and local boutiques, featuring dresses, beach apparel, toys, and souvenir. The Village is the main shopping district of Siesta Key. Cars drive slowly through this area, but there are many visitors who will ride bikes, so keep an eye on your toddler. While Siesta Key is a safe island and great for families looking for a low-key beach destination, the Village is a very popular area. Or hop on board the free Trolley that takes you all around the island making several stops along the way. Smugglers Cove Adventure is the top minigolf spot on the island if your kids have tons of energy left. There are also some fun things to do right up by the beach. The beach allows for so many different ways to play, or you can take your kids to Siesta Key Public Beach Park where there are food options and a well-maintained playground. The sand on Siesta Key is world-famous and known for its cool touch and silky-smooth texture. You can have a shell-seeking competition, build a sand castle, get some beach gear at a local shop, and so on. You don’t need to be especially inventive to fill the day with fun. The beach is filled with possible family-friendly activities and things to do. Siesta Key has some dazzling and often quiet beach sides, and all are warm and welcoming for families.
